Course Duration
The duration of MBBS in Kazakhstan is 6 years, including 5 years of academic training and 1 year internship, which is often recognized by most countries. The academic period fully abides by the same rules set by NMC/MCI.
Medium of Instruction
The entire course of MBBS in Kazakhstan is taught in English medium to Indian students and other foreign students who wish to study in English medium. By their second year, students learn basic Russian language to help them communicate with local patients during clinical rotations.

All Indian students are provided accommodation in university hostels for the entire period of their MBBS in Kazakhstan. It's compulsory to stay at university hostel for at least first year since students don't have knowledge of Kazakh language for communicating with locals.
Facilities
Indian boys & girls are provided accommodation in separate hostels or in completely separate blocks/wings of the same hostel. All hostel rooms are equipped with CCTV surveillance of all important places in the dorm for all rooms and safety reasons for the safety of international students. The entry & exit times from hostel premises are 6:00 AM & 10:00 PM respectively. A security guard is always present to monitor the students & locate visiting the dorm.
Amenities
Each hostel floor has a common kitchen where students can prepare food by their own. A reading hall, sports hall & laundry is available in each hostel. Internet connection is provided free of charge. All rooms are equipped with furniture & beddings (study table & chair, lamps, bed, bed sheets, pillow & wardrobe). Students can get the services required by contacting administration of dormitory.
